There aren't enough stars to adequately express my positive experience with Maui Jaw Surgical Institute, Dr. Strawn, and her amazing staff. The place runs like a Swiss watch. I went in for an extraction and post insert for an implant at 11am, expecting to have an evening of pain and a night of little sleep. I had very little pain after the numbness wore off that evening and woke up with no pain at all. Wow! Mahalo nui!

Believe the hype! Every single person I dealt with from the first phone call till they wheeled me out to my ride was incredible. Super clean modern clinic. Very professional. And it might’ve been my most positive dental experience I’ve ever had despite what I was up against. Made me nearly wish that I had another dental problem to deal with. nurse Reina was particularly sweet. And the doctor was incredible.

I went in today to have all my wisdom teeth removed. It was an incredibly positive experience and I’m super impressed! Everyone in there was super nice, talked me through it all. The sweet woman at the front counter was very nice and immediately made me feel at ease when we walked in. I was put completely under sedation and it was over in seconds for me. They gave me a ton of stuff to help with recovery, medicated mouth wash, gauze, cleaning syringe and that face ice pack which had been a LIFESAVER. They even gave me a second smaller ice pack for when my face one thaws out. I was nervous to be sedated but it went off without a hitch and I’m super happy with the results. Dr was extremely friendly and assured me I can reach out via text anytime and she would respond personally. Nurse Genisis was absolutely lovely and he really put me at ease through the whole thing. We were cracking jokes and laughing leading up to me being put under which made me feel so much better. I told him that I was worried about how gross and dry bloody nasty my lips would look after and when I woke up my lips were clean and covered in nice chap stick, he had made sure my lips weren’t yucky :,) if you need any jaw related surgery done I highly recommend Maui Jaw!

I’ve always been a nervous patient because of past bad experiences with other doctors. I went to Dr. Strawn needing a tooth extracted and from the moment you walk in you receive a warm welcoming. The dental assistant and Dr. Strawn were both very professional and friendly. Quick and PAINLESS. Also, this office is very modern and CLEAN! :)))

I had a bone graft and an implant done by Dr Strawn and both experiences were totally five star. Dr Strawn is highly gifted and so caring of her patients. I highly recommend her for any type of oral surgery or treatments that she can provide. The staff is, also totally wonderful caring and attentive. They do everything they can to make you feel comfortable .I had no pain with any of the procedures, and my recovery was also amazingly Rapid and easy. I highly recommend Dr Strawn and her team if you have any oral surgery needs on Maui.
